In the world of luxury weddings, balancing timeless and elegant photos while avoiding “cookie cutter” photos and videos for our clients is an art form. Jesse and Shaylie opted to do their pre-wedding first look photoshoot was at the majestic Utah State Capitol. Their inspiration for their whole wedding was centered around the opulence and sophistication of “old money.” The two most important things that make our break the feel and look of a wedding are the fashion and environment.
To embody the “old money” first look vibes, we suggested the Utah State Capitol as the first location. The Utah State Capitol, with its neoclassical architecture and breathtaking surroundings, served as the perfect canvas for our vision of old-world glamour. In almost every big city, there’s a city hall-type of location that makes for the architectural sophistication we look for when planning photoshoots. The Utah State Capitol is a refined and tasteful wedding venue. If you’re looking for luxury on a budget, it may be exactly what you’re looking for!
Shaylie’s form-fitted gown featured show-stopping intricate beadwork. Jesse chose a custom-made white Indochino suit jacket with black lapels. Their wedding attire really drove home the old-school Hollywood glam inspiration for this shoot.
By blending classic aesthetics with modern imagery, we were able to deliver photos and a film that transcends time. As your wedding photographer and videographer, our commitment is to capture not just moments but to curate an unforgettable experience.
