There are few indoor venue spaces that blow us away like Walker Farms. Every detail of this venue has been carefully considered, from the grand staircase to the stained glass doors in the bridal room. This Utah venue Walker Farms is a beautiful gathering space with an intimate feel. Even though it’s a big white farmhouse, it doesn’t feel too rustic or western for a black-tie wedding. We were lucky to photograph and film this wedding as associates for our friends Jarom and Shanessa. As you can see, there’s no shortage of fall florals and emotional moments with Chloe and Dylan’s wedding.
There were so many unique touches that Chloe and Dylan incorporated into their wedding day. At the ceremony, Chloe came down the staircase by herself and then Dylan came to meet her and they walked down the aisle together. We love that they chose to make a meaningful entrance into the ceremony together as partners. They also chose to involve their grandmothers as the “flower grannies.” At the reception, they cut two cakes – a traditional wedding cake and a second cake made out of pancakes. It’s Dylan’s favorite food and they wanted to make their cake cuttings more fun. For their exit, they drove away in a red classic car.
Although we love Pinterest wedding inspo as much as the next couple, what really makes your wedding special is the little touches of personality and love you put into wedding planning. Things like choosing a menu that reminds you of your first date, wearing a perfume your significant other gifted you, or just incorporating your love story into your vows makes it a truly perfect wedding day.
